The last twenty years witnessed a change in the way emotions are regarded in cognitive sciences. In fact, not only are they now reconsidered as being worthy of being studied, but they have gained a specific status outside of the realm of consciousness. Surprisingly, cognitive architectures have not yet fully benefited from this shift. As stated in [7], unconscious emotions play an essential role in cognitive processes. Öhman and Wiens [8] specified the idea of an autonomic fear module distinct of conscious fear. Abstract— We propose to implement a dynamic model of stress based on theories and data originating from psychology, physiology and human factors literature. The DEVS [1] and GDEVS [2] Formalisms are utilised to obtain an operational model. Possible areas of application for such a model include all areas where more realistic simulations of human behavior are necessary
